    Hi

I was looking at this Optoma Screen but the room I'd install it in has a wooden ceiling.

The problem is the joist is about a foot from where I'd like to place the screen.

See my incredibly poorly drawn attached picture.
(Imagine you're sitting on the sofa at the back of the room)

The ceiling seems to be tongue and groove wood but I'm not sure how thick.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks
    M
