    i have a htc desire and want to upgrade it i have it a year now its on 2.2 whats the best one out ?

    In order of latest-

    4.1 - jellybean:
    galaxy nexus,
    nexus s (currently in process)

    4.0 - ice cream sandwich:
    Samsung galaxy s3 with touchwiz.
    Samsung galaxy s2 with touchwiz
    Htc one x with sense
    Htc one s with sense
    Htc one v with sense

    Thats all i know of im sure theres a list knocking around including those that are expected to be upgraded

    for the htc desire, your best ROM is CM7.2

    If you're on stock now go for one of the roms based on the official 2.3 release

    Had trouble installing custom rom on this phone. As fair as I came remember I stayed on 2.2 and installed clockworkmod from there and then flashed a ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=628

    No harm in testing roms once you know what you are doing. You can always revert back to gingerbread.
