Quite simply: It's as safe as it ever has been.

From a moral perspective it is not a safe place to go, lol :pac::pac::pac:

Then by 'moral' standards, you can't travel anywhere

This is the official travel advice from Iveagh House.

Personally, I'd go in the morning if I had the chance.

I've never been there and its high on my list.

Yes of course  Only certain area's are unsafe, and you wouldnt have any business going there anyway.

I've been there a few times, I can tell you it's an extremely safe place to be. A lot safer them Dublin to be walking around.

Very hot though, I remember about 40DegC on the beach in Tel Aviv at 8am.

What dont you get? Israel was never too unsafe, except in the area's such as the Gaza strip where most visitors shouldnt have any real reason to go there.

It was always safe to travel there. Also quite safe to travel around inside the country, on buses or in own car. I've done this many many times and also hitch hiked with jews and arabs without incident.

The usual apply, don't be flaunting money about and keep to the lit up areas*

*you're not likely to get robbed but I'd hate for you to get lost ;)
