No log book for nct

    Hi guys,

    My car is due it's nct tomorrow just realised that I misplaced my log book! Any suggestions? Will they let me take the test?

    They don't normally care about the lack of logbook. It is a lack of ID that is the problem with them these days.

    i asked them the last day i was there (last week). they told me no logbook doesnt matter.

    Had mine done Sunday, didnt need the log book but they wont do it if you dont have ID.

    Yeah, I was there last week, I didn't need the logbook. You should be grand.

    i was told that you can still do the test without id but that you need to come back with id within 30 days to get the actual cert.
