I have secondhand (primary) schoolbooks from various classes that l wanted to get rid of. l took them to the bookshop that sells them which l was hoping to exchange them for new books. I was told that most of them were no more good as there was some changes made to them and they cannot sell 2ndhand schoolbooks. Is this happening everywhere? These books are alive-os and starways

I had much the same happen to me last year - I brought books to a Wise Owl shop - they took a few but only those in like new condition - they would not take any that were marked. I also only managed to buy a couple second hand - not many though as obviously the shops are too picky when buying the books - when I was in school the second hand books were always in bits and my parents never minded!!
