Each year the Library employs a number of ‘student shelvers’ who work 10-12 hours per week at the libraries on campus and the Trinity Centre at St James’s Hospital. The primary role of student shelvers is to sort books and return them to the shelves each morning before the Library opens.

More details and the application form here - http://tcld.wordpress.com/2012/07/17/student-shelvers-applications-for-the-coming-academic-year/

Closing date for applications is 12 noon, Friday 31st August.

I would love this job! I have my application filled out. How many positions are there?

It varies from year to year depending on how many of the existing shelvers return in Michaelmas Term. If you're not immediately successful you may be put on a shortlist so that when people drop out we can call on you.

    Good luck!

Do you know when the interviews will be held and is it possible to do a phone interview? (I'm abroad for most of Sept).
