    Hi,
    Just wondering if anyone can help me.
    I met my dad 4 years ago after nearly 20 years, He was never around when I was a baby.
    My Mam had passed away shortly before I met him.
    Any way my problem is that I want his name put on my birth cert but he doesn't want to do it.Does anyone know if I can get it done through the courts or is it a case that if he doesnt want to I cant make him?
    If anyone could help that would be great.

    Yes,it can be done through the courts.
    Citizens information will be able to help you and you will need a solicitor.
