    I'm not sure they have a choice really if that's the terms of the treaty. Could be wrong though. I realise we're dualist but I wonder how long we'd get away with not abiding by it?

    That said it will allow anyone who is here illegally to get a work legitimately leveling the playing fields for jobs. I would expect the odd cleaning firm to be putting up its prices in the near future.

    Whenever a new country joins the Union all other countries are allowed to derogate from in this case free movement of workers for a period. In this case that was to run out in 2014, Ireland has brought that forward as to be honest its just easier and the numbers are not as high as expected. Due to misunderstanding most employers assumed as the person was Romanian and had a PPS number they could work, which was not the case.
