Hey guys, I'd like to ask you for some information..

I currently have a part-time postition, sometimes I'm asked to work for 6 hours straight, they don't give me any break, my thing here is... I think I should get paid one extra hour for the break I didn't get.

So I work for 6 hours straight without break and always get paid for only 6 hours, can they do that??

Does anyone know what are the laws on this matter??

After 4 and a half hours you are entitled to a 15 min unpaid break and after 6 hours you are entitled to a 30 min unpaid break. http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employment/employment_rights_and_conditions/hours_of_work/rest_periods_and_breaks.html
So you are entitled to breaks but not extra pay.
