    Hi
I thought it would be good to hear what other peoples opinions are on the fact that the dark knight rises is Nolans last Batman movie. It's not usual that they tell everyone it's over, as usually if the movie makes a lot of money they do another one, but Christopher Nolan and a number of the cast including Christian Bale have openly said they are not going back to it.

I am personally glad it is his last. Don't get me wrong I love his Batman films and I am a massive fan of Christopher Nolan but he has so many other great films like the prestige, inception, memento, the following and insomnia. I feel like if he makes more batman films he will be labelled as "the guy who directed the batman movies". Also I would love to see more, different films from him.
So I am glad it's his last one and I am excited to see Dark Knight Rises.
    opinions?

same, I think it would be good. you never really know where there going to take the franchise next. for example if you look at the contrast between Tim Burton's and Christopher Nolan's view of batman.

I think there's probably enough threads on The Dark Knight Rises as is ;)
