nissan micra wont open help

hi my granfather has a nissan micra and he went to get into it this morring and it and the doors wouldnent open.

so i went down to him and i went ang got a new battery in the key. so went back and still no luck.

went looking for a place on the doors to open it manually but no place to do so.

so what am i going to do. ???????????

If its a newer model there's a plastic clip on the passenger door that clips off so you can manually unlock it

look on the passenger front door....there is a plastic cover you can remove to put the key in....

Look at door handle passenger side as stated has a cover beside where the handle moves. It has a key symbol on it.
Could the battery in car be dead maybe interior light left on or sidelights

Passenger door put your left hand on handle to open and cap is to the right where your thumb would be it is in same position as key hole on any other car look under handle and you see a small slot to put key in to flick off cover

If jump starting car don't leave keys in car as central locking will lock doors

i got the door unlocked only the passager side door. so i started it and it unlocked the doors. so tuned it off and tryed to lock it and it would only lock the p/s door. ????????

I think you turn the key twice to lock all doors.

The key needs to be re tuned to the car.
Does the central locking inside the car work(push button)
