Got a video made of some video footage of a bike trip I did a few months ago - you guys recommended a lot of great roads, was really great fun, highly recommend it.

Thought you might like to see it:

I'm too lady to do the video editing here for pocket change!

Recognise a lot of those roads. Kerry is some spot for scenic routes. Fair play to you, I really should get a cam and start recording my travels

I highly recommend it - I'm going to try to get more. I'm only now getting around to it months later, but being able to get it edited for next to nothing makes its definitely worthwhile doing...

Yeah it's good quality too - what type of cam you using? Commute to and from work on the bike but spend the majority of my free time on it too, never plan anything, just drive so I've found a few unusual spots, I'd definitely like to record them.

Good stuff. I'm planning a road trip with the mates for after I get the GSX back on the road

It's a GoPro. Quality is savage, it's not even on full for that one. They are well handy, you can mount them easily to anything.

If I can offer one suggestion on the vid, try to have the sound of the bike as opposed to music. I know it can be hard sometimes with the wind hitting the mic but I say there is a lovely growl from your beast!

...excellent video - well done. Looking forward to GoPro #2 on my own one... :p

....I just did a video myself, bike based, for a cycling club, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDWahNSmBYI

...the ease of video editing these days makes it a snap, and I'm going to do more, over time - it's a great hook to get others interested as well.

Here is one unedited video where you just hear the engine:

Thing is it does not sound anywhere near as good as in real life, kind of annoying. Also I have an open clutch which rattles like a box of hammers and sounds crappy with this camera for some reason.

Most lads get an external mic and fit it under the seat to stop the wind noise but pick up the engine. I have the Drift HD cam myself so I know how hard it is to stop the wind noise. Especially going over say 60mph +
