commercial tax and herd number

    hello all i am new to this but any way i will get on with this question. i am thinking of buying a jeep next year for farming use and would rather go for the commercial route than paying private tax. the only thing is that i am trying to go under the parents herd number i don,t have my own and my father already has a van under the herd number. is there any chance that i could go under the same herd number?. thanks for looking
