    Hi

I bought an Alba saorview box for myself and my sister. I set up hers no problem had to use a scart lead. I live about 10kms from her

I set up my own one and all I am getting are the Uk stations and no Irish ones at all. I picked Ireland as my country the only difference is that I used the lead that came in the box. I am in the North East

    Any idea how this happened.

    Thanks

You may have been be picking up RTE analogue from Carlingford which will not be Saorview for months yet. Did you have TV3 analogue at any stage?? What about TG4??

    Where are you exactly?

Saorview from the Clermont Carn transmitter near Dundalk appears to have been down for most of today. It came back for a short while earlier at full strength, but now is back at 0% again.
I spent half the day tweaking the aerial and now have it pulling in the old analogue signals from both Kilkeel and Camlough better than ever, but no Saorview!

thanks for the replies. Since I posted I had to rescan, I now have all the Irish stations, radio stations. I also have BBC 4, cbeebies (however it keeps freezing)and uk radio stations bbc radio 1, radio 2.

I am in Kells and the nearest transmitter is CLERMONT CARN wont be able to move the aerial either as its on roof and I'm in a rented house.

    thanks
