I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten this and/or if Meteor have been hacked in some way. A few minutes ago I got a text purporting to be from "info@meteor.ie" saying:

You Have 550,000 Pounds on Facebook, You Have to Call +447<SNIP> And Email: <SNIP>

I've never received (or heard of) a phishing text before but am a Meteor customer. I suppose I should report it to them.

Why not simply block the number?
    I've had two of these.
    It's apparently from +353851<SNIP>
And report the owner to the Fraud squad?
And report the UK number to the operator there?

    I got a similar one.

Mine was from 'NL'mymeteor.ie' and said -

    Your Mobile Won
    500,000.00 euro in
    Blackberry
    Netherlands Promo.
    For claims email code
    NL101 to
    claims@bbnetherlands.co.cc

It was written out in lines like the above, too.

First time getting a phishing scam from 'mymeteor.ie'
