Hey I put advocate on my cat this morning, she keeps going to groom herself but it obviously tastes disgusting as she snarles and jumps.. anyone have any idea how long the taste lasts for?

We use advocate on our cat but we put it between his shoulder blades where he can't get at it as per a vet's advice and due to it being the place the cat is least able to lick/clean itself.

    Where did you put it?

The vet put it on her this morning behind her head and just below her shoulder blades, she has allergic dermatitis at the mo so she had to be careful not to put it on broken skin, she twists around awkwardly to get at it, little rip. She didn't get at any when it was wet, but now it's dried in she can still taste it!

She'll be fine in the morning.
The taste will have gone by then.
