Why am I not surprised to hear this.
You can just cancel your credit card payment to them though I presume? I'm sure they'll be quick to react then.

    Just cancel payment via paywizard.

it's not that simple if you pay via direct debit.
You can cancel a direct debit and box nation can still request payment and guess what the bank will pay them.

Put it in writing to box nation and bring that to the bank, make sure you tell bank that you have now cancelled the dd on both ends

not true once its cancelled from the bank they cannot take anything from your account without getting your permission to set up a new direct debt

Incorrect. When a creditor requests payment from your account they use an i.d (a number) this changes every month.. When you cancel the dd on your end the bank cancels last months I.d.

Any way o.p I'm not making this stuff up, I know from my own business.. Take my advice and do what I suggest, if not you run the risk of paying a month or two after termination.
