Are there any good deals for a cheap hotel in Galway city? Something around the €200 mark for two people for two nights. thanks.

Not particularly cheap but for €260 you get two nights B&B and one dinner in the Ardilaun
Weekend break, you can arrive on Thursday, Friday or Saturday and you stay for the next two nights

It's on Taylor's Hill and is a fantastic hotel, best in Galway in my opinion

    It's walk-able, 20 mins.

Note that during summer it can be difficult to find good deals since there's alway a festival or something going on.

I always find this a great comparison site

Compares prices from loads of different sites with loads of search filters so you should find something you like.

Are you or whoever you are travelling with insured with axa? If you are axa leisure breaks offer some good value for money.

Ardilaun is aokay but too far from the action for tourists imo and I live beside it. Look at Forster court which can be cheap and good location
