Just looking at these on the Planet X Irish website. Are they good value for €630. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was talking to a guy with them on and he was happy with them. They just looked like debadged Cosmics with somewhat cheaper (but probably alright, - maybe Novatech like all the other Chinese wheels) hubs.

For about 100 extra delivered, I'd probably get the Cosmics. Better resale if you decide to shift them on later. And having ridden a set of Cosmics into a parked car. Over the side of a mountain, offroad and through 3 winters, I can tell you they take one hell of a beating.

Myself and a team-mate, LennyMc bought a set each from mark in the athlone shop, did some racing/training on them, no bothers. Still very true etc.....i have yet to be convinced of the advantages of deeper rims, but they do look great! Decent price Vs weight ratio too I think.
