    Hi,

    Just wondering if someone could help me with a query. Just got offered a job with multi-national.

    Will be paid from Ireland but will have international placements, starting with US, where I'll be based for 8 months.

    What are my income tax and USC liabilities?

    You need professional advice with this one.

    As discussed in previous threads Expat taxation is quite a complex area of taxation and is beyond the scope of this forum.

    I do intend to post a sticky on expat taxation in the coming weeks which should cover the basics, this might help you whenever I get round to doing it.
