I have a pair of those. I got them on eBay, but be warned, they are useless.

Hi thanks, I already have water proof boots, just want these to keep the damp away from my feet and my pants clean as the work im currently doing involves walking through fields of high grass!

Sounds like you need gaitors ... but ... wellies are best for general walking in wet grass, muck etc. ... I wouldn't wear wellies up in the hills all day long but if it is just general walking around in wet stuff I prefer wellies.

Maybe try a pair of gaiters? These won't keep your pants clean, just your feet and calves sweaty. I suppose you could stuff your tousers inside them, but it'd be a tight fit, and sweaty as all hell.

Edit: Beaten to it by preacherman!

Just to note that you can indeed get wellies that would meet H&S criteria. Forestry boots of the welly variety have steel toe and shanks as well as kevlar matting over the shin. Best of all, they keep you dry and no need for gaitors etc.

I have some too and they were great for a while. My big toenail decided to have a fight with the waterproof membrane though, and the membrane lost :)
