Was driving back from dropping the gf to work. I was sittin in a bit of traffic and lovely looking girl (possibly polish) with black hair and crackin body in heels was walking passed on other side of road. So bein a lad I starred for a bit and traffic was flowing slowly going opposite ways potted two lads in a civic both starring at this one aswell then next thing smashed up the rear of an old starlet with a young fella drivin it
Sorry I didn't have me phone on me for it
Lads got out screaming at each other
Don't think I've ever laughed so hard in me life
Well anything ever happened like that to you?

Was sitting in traffic in Navan a few years back (which as anyone who knows it is a maze of one way traffic) when this car decides to reverse back up the road.. straight into the bollards in the middle of the square!

Out she gets, walks around to the back of the car with a "oh ****" look and admires the nice bollard-sized dent in her bumper and boot.

Oh how I laughed! :D Looked in my rear view mirror and a guy in a Transit was in tears laughing as well. :p

It was full of coal. It didn't.

I was driving through Terrenure a few years back in a brand new, 1st day company car. Traffic was crawling and it was slooow. An absolute stunner was getting out of a jeep across the road, and I was, err, having a gander, when suddenly the steering wheel leapt up and smacked me hard in the forehead. It took me a second or two to realise I'd just rear-ended a Honda Civic at about 10 mph.
Sugar. I got out, other driver was sound enough, no damage to be seen to his car, mine, the bonnet was crunched, the bumper bent. We exchanged details and drove off. I spent a sweaty hour in the frascatti car park trying to straighten the damage before going back to work, dreading telling them. They too were sound, no biggie. Two months later yer man claimed for everything, whiplash, car, the works! I've been rear-ended three times, never claimed, never whinged. I was always unhurt and there was never any real damage to be seen in any of the three cases, to my car - usually the car doing the rear ending was wrecked though, whatever thats about. So karma don't work. Also, stop looking at those fine wimmen, it gets expensive:D

Me and MCM witnessed a fine bit of reversing on the memorial run up the Dublin mountains. French girl reversed her Clio straight into a stone wall, couldn't have missed it.

Not so much funny as "how the hell did you not see that"?

Oh yes what distracted me was thinking how noisy the auld daysul was at 100kph when I noticed that I was passing everyone I put 2+2 together....:D

Dock Road in Limerick, nearly creamed the guy in front of me looking at some fine wimmin. Paying more attention to the road now...;)

But the top funny moment for me will have to be this one:

In January 2010 I think, during the first proper snow, I was out getting some plumbing supplies with a friend in his jeep
To save time I think, he decides to drive diagonally across the car park towards the exit
grand, except neither of us managed to notice the giant silver lamppost or the steel protective barrier around it till we went straight into it.

From a distance it did blend into the white, so the impact was bit of a shock
bullbars took the damage but it was a strange experience,
a bit like someone randomly deciding to show you how strong their ABS is without telling you
which the same fella did about a year later again with me as a passenger in his mams car
