    I have won a days clinic next week with Rory Mc Ilroys coach Michael Bannon. Delighted of course. I ve been told there will be 10 of us on the group from all over the country . We will play as well as be coached. Roganstown Gc is the venue. If anyone can give me an idea of landmarks that would be great. I ll follow the AA route planner but a few local marks are handy. Also an idea of time from say the Red Cow. We have to be there at 9 am. Thanks

    Sounds like a great day. Michael Bannon was a good player himself in his day. Would have been knocking around the amateur scene with Harrington in early 90s.

    Roganstown is situated about half way between Swords and Ashbourne. From the Red Cow, presuming you don't get lost, you should do it in 30 mins. In terms of directions, coming from the Red Cow, this is how I would do it (others might suggest a better way);

    Follow M50 almost until it runs out and take the M1.
    Take the turn off for Swords (after the airport)
    Left at roundabout, straight on through next 2 roundabouts
    Straight through final roundabout (travel lodge close by) bringing you into Swords village.
    Go all the way down Main St until you hit T junction at the end with traffic lights (council/courts offices on your right). Turn left at these lights.
    Follow this road all the way out of Swords for about 5/6 miles until you see large signs on right hand side of road indicating turn off for Roganstown GC.
    Pull into car park, take clubs out, play well.
