Looking for some "Matchs Amicaux"

Heading to France with the family for a couple of weeks mid-August and I've been looking for some pre-season or friendly matches to head to. We're willing to travel so whereabouts doesn't really matter.

Anyway, I'm looking for advice or insight from anyone who has been to one or who knows anything about these "Matchs Amicaux". There seems to be a nice double-header in Beziers involving Racing Metro, Grenoble, Carcassone and Beziers. Any others? Thanks.

Have a look at the Pro12 listing of pre-season friendlies here on their facebook page. Plenty of games around France during that period.

Wow .ak! That's perfect. Just what I was looking for. There's a game between Munster and ASM La Rochelle just three hours down the road from us. Excellent. Thanks again.

    Here's a link to an agenda of all pre-season matches T14 & ProD2 etc

Btw the T14 season kicks off on the 17th/18th of August & the ProD2 on the 25th so depending where you are you could catch a full on league game.

Now I'm not 100% sure if I'm allowed to post those links as the rules are a bit sttrrrange here but feel free to pm & I'll get back to you.

Also be carefull about trip times. Depending where you are they can double or even triple particuarilly at weekends during the holiday season. Whatever about internet sites personnally I'd recommend local advice before setting off.

Posting links to third party sites like this is fine so long as they don't contain porn/nsfw or match streams.

You also can't embed or post full versions of copyrighted material.

    Thanking you .ak

What can I say? Once bitten & all of that.........:D

Mind you that site does have some topless photo's of SBW amongst others & if members of the fairer sex are to be believed that is at least "soft" porn :P

Bugger. We were planning on just turning up on the evening. Sure rugby isn't that big in France  Thanks for the heads up. I'll get on to the branch ASAP.
