BBC 3.....Hi need some help if possible, have FTA box and my BBC3 is not showing, I can get it during day ie: kids tv etc ...but just after 7pm I get "Scrambled Channel", I live in Castlebar if that helps.....thanks

The only difference between BBC3 & CBBC is in the service i.d. (SID), for BBC3 it's 6319, CBBC is 6317.

Most FTA receivers just display CBBC before 7pm & BBC3 afterwards, but might only have the now & next data for whichever was on air when the initial scan was done, so you have to scan separately for each at the right time.

Same goes for BBC4 & CBeebies.

I think there may have been a change recently as BBC 3 is going 24 hours for the Olympics (and CBBC is staying on air).

Yeah, just do manual scan using these settings after 7pm. Should be grand.

You will pick up bbc three and four on Astra1.BBC Three only comes on at seven o clock,otherwise it's blank.I think the cbbc channels go blank at seven.

Funnily I noticed on a friends box the other day a similar thing, no CBBC (on the 3 setting) during the day but 3 was ok after 19:00. At the time I thought someone had been messing with the box. I wonder has there been some subtle change?

BBC3 is now showing video & audio PIDs 5250 & 5251 respectively.

Kingofsat has up to date info.

I have the same problem. Up to recently Children's channel, just ended at 7pm, and BBC 3 commenced. Now it does as you posted. Did anyone have a solution, as how to adjust the FTA ?

I think the problem people are having is that BBC3 is ending at seven except on Astra 1.The setting is 10776/H/21999.

There's no problem, as stated above they just tweaked the PIDs.

You should refer to the satellite as Astra 1N @ 28 degrees east; if you just say Astra 1, some people will think you're talking about 19 east. Also, the frequency is 10773 mHz.

The cbbc channels are ending at seven.They used to just switch over to BBC3.Frequency on my box is 10776 if it matters.

They've separated BBC3 so it can broadcast full time for the Olympics. A Lidl FTA box I have needed CBBC/BBC3 & CBeebies/BBC4 tuned separately anyway to get the now & next info. & the "new" BBC3 just appeared in the correct slot.

Anyone having problems getting a signal for BBC3?

I can pick it up on a scan at channel 106 but when I go to watch it there's no signal there.
I've done a single transponder scan using the settings from KingOfSat but no new channel is picked up so I presume the channel 106 that I have is it - just nothing showing?

I see CBBC mentioned above & I can get that fine during the day

Yeah unable to get BBC 3 the last couple of weeks,tried 10773 H 22000 on my ariva 120 combo,no success??

BBC3 is on 10818 V, SR 22000.
