What's the best/cheapest way to get to Hannover?

If St Pat's get past Siroki Brijeg in the Europa League, they'll play Hannover and I'll most likely be there.

You're either looking at Ryanair or Aer Lingus to the nearest airport (no direct flights to Hannover from Dublin) and then a train to Hannover, or Lufthansa and change planes probably in Frankfurt.

Or you could go with BA or Flybe via a UK airport.

    Skyscanner.net is your friend.

I've been to Hannover before and you could go Ryanair from Dublin to either Stansted or Manchester and onwards to Bremen or Munster/Osnabruck with Air Berlin from Stansted. Trains are cheap in Germany if booked well enough in advance on bahn.de.

    Sound lads.

Bremen airport is closed bewteen the 6th-11th of August, the match is on the 9th.

Flying into Hamburg and getting a train is looking like one of the best options.

Yep I did Hamburg and train on the return leg of one of my trips there. It could work out the cheapest option.

I think Aer Lingus fly to Hamburg?

German trains are, as you'd expect, excellent and reasonably priced.
