De Facto relationships ,civil partnership certificates ,same sex relationships for immigration and residence here.
The local immigration officer looked at me in horror when I said it was coming.
I have sent requests to INIS but may not get a reply.

In fairness, when the original post in an After Hours thread doesn't make much sense and has no context, there's not much else anyone else can do...

Anyone have a similar experience of dealing with immigration on this.
Looking at the comments some would regard this it as not a serious relationship.
Well boys, women here are not interested in me. I
am divorced 2 times and have been through the mill with women.
I am sitting in the Garda station and see 190,000 separated living alone in Ireland at risk of depression.
I do not want to be one of these in the future.
I certainly do not want to marry again .
Everyone else wants cake and gets away with it.

Yes, but it was a fever dream that took place in a land of newspaper taxis and marmalade skies.

No one knows what the original post is saying, maybe you could try adding some words so you have complete sentences and give some detail?

Why are you in the police station?

    What's going on?

To get my out of date tax signed as the car was not in use.
    Talk about going off track.

    Indeed.

So what's the point you'd like to raise about same-sex marriages, defacto, civil partnerships, and immigration? It's still not very clear.
