[Wanted] First year accommodation

    Hi guys
I'd really appreciate some help with regards to finding accommodation for college this year! So I have decided on off-campus accommodation as I feel it would be much more economically friendly and as it is my parents who will be paying and not me, I am trying to keep costs as low as I can!
So if all goes well I hope to go to UCD and then after that DCU would be my second option. I am really just looking to find out if theres a website or some sort of way to get in touch with first years like myself or people in a similar situation as me who are willing to share a house? I could stay with friends but because I repeated 6th year they will all be going into their 2nd year of college and I'm told I should mix with first years instead!

Does anyone have any advice or anything that could help??
    Thank you!:)

    Hi sillekittee,

Probably your best bet would be to look on daft.ie for people looking for an extra person for their house, otherwise collegecribs.ie. You might find it hard to find other first years wanting to private rent though because I think most would try for on-campus.

    Good luck :)

Talk to the accommodation offices in the relevant colleges.
