    I don't know if this is the right forum, but it's a good place to start.

    Watched Ep 2 of The Newsroom last night, and one of the staff in the background was really familiar. A quick look on Google tells me she's Wynn Everett :

    It's killing me what I think I've seen her in before. I've checked out IMDB and there's nothing obvious there. So I'm thinking maybe it's an Ad, though I'm guessing it must have been an US Ad that was shown over here?

    All I can think of from this Ad is she's talking to her partner / date, and he's asking her something, and she's just nodding and saying 'Uh huh..'. Like maybe something strange has happened but he's missed it and she's answering like that to get away with it or something.

    Very little to go on I know, any ideas?

    It's a beer ad. Bud/Coors/Miller I think.

    "So you're going out with my sister?"....or something along those lines.

    That's the Ad, this Irish guy chats her up in a bar, then her Boyfriend comes along, and the Irish Guy pretends to be her Brother. The Boyfriend says 'You've a brother?' and she says 'Uh huh...'!! :)

    So happy I have an answer, you know when something's stuck in your head and you can't place it? Now off to You Tube to find it...

    Yep, that's the one! Pretty certain it is her, but more importantly, it's the one I was thinking of! Thanks...

    Edit : Just realised that she doesn't actually say 'Uh huh...', it was actually the rushed 'Yes I did' that I was thinking of. But it was definitely this ad! :)
