I am thinking of commuting from Cork to WIT - 3 times a week.

    Am I mad?

Course is only 3 days per week.

Prob 1hr50 mins to and from. It would be bareable I suppose. A fella I know used to work in Newbridge in Kildare driving up and down from South Tipp every day I think!! Now that is crazy.

You would definitely be wrecked most evenings though. I know a few that go up and down from Wexford Town daily and they found it tough going, about 1 Hour to and from.

I wouldn't say mad. It's do-able like. Depends on the workload of the course. If you're confident that you can do the work at home (and maybe use you time productively on the bus then why not). You'll probably save money on having to move to Waterford.

If you are driving, its doable. If you plan on using the bus, you can forget it, most weeks it takes the best part of 3hrs. Not worth it if you have to do it twice a day three times a week.

Depends on what kind of car your driving, if its running well and doesnt cost much on petrol you could drive away. If it uses a lot of petrol then you should really think about renting a crib for about €70. i drove up and down from Cork once in a banger, and it felt like I was going to the moon. Truly awful. Then the exhaust fell off, oh the irony of it all. Never again
