I need help with the basics

    If I get into College in September I'm gonna need to find some place to live, but I'm so confused.
    I've looked on daft.ie and rent.ie but don't really understand what I'm meant to be looking for.
    I know some people have said to search under house share, but say if I had a group of 4 friends maybe, would we look under the rent section to find a house that we could all share?
    And if it says something like say €1200 monthly, would that be split 4 ways or each?

    Any help much appreciated!
