I have recently looked at a CZ .17HMR...it's just the bare rifle and I was wondering what kind of scope would suit?

Hawke scopes are great for the money. Try and get one with fairly high magnification, because the hmr is well capable of reaching out there

what budget have you to spend on glass?

I have a 4-16 x50 mag on mine and its plenty enough.

Bushnell banner 6-24x50 is a great scope and you can buy it in the uk for £99 or have it posted over for about €150.

I had a 3-9x40 hawke mildot and another 3-9x40 on mine too which were good but I wanted a bit more magnification for trying targets past 200 yards. (both are for sale cheap if interested ;) )

Have a look at the mtc range of scopes, I think they are well put together and good value for ££££
