Oblivious Drivers

Sitting in traffic on the way home from work earlier...

The traffic comes to a standstill (as it does during rush hour) and the car in front of me is at a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing. While all the traffic is stationary the light goes from green to red. The traffic ahead moves on so the road is clear. The car in front of me stayed at the red light..... But in the lane beside us the car at the lights just moves off (following the traffic that had cleared) and the next 2 cars follow suit, breaking the lights!!

There were 2 lads waiting to cross the road (and they had the green man) but luckily enough they saw these idiots moving off and didn't step out into the road. Some people are just on auto pilot and don't notice anything around them. It's shocking to see just how oblivious some drivers are to their surroundings!

People are like sheep. Run a red light from a standstill and two out of three times the car behind will follow.
