Xoom or Touchpad

    After (pretty much) deciding to go for a secondhand Android tablet instead of iPad, I'm wondering which of the Xoom or HP Touchpad would be the one to go for?
    Which has the biggest rooting community, etc.?

    The touchpad certainly has the bigger rooting community. As for which is better, I don't think there is much in it really. As a biased touchpad owner I would choose the touchpad, but then again I've never owned a Xoom.

    I assume you don't like the form factor of the nexus 7? I'm going to put my touchpad on Adverts soon as I got a Nexus 7 as a gift and prefer its size.

    I own a Xoom and love it.
    Check out xda developers which has big Xoom rooting community.

    Xoom due to receive official Jellybean update in next few weeks. Can't wait. :D

    I rooted my EU xoom and converted it to a US GED Xoom which gets all the updates.
    Its not that hard to do.

    I have a HP Touchpad with Android running on it and it works extremely well.
    Haven't tried a Xoom but I think the Touchpad has a larger rooting community!

    But I'm thinking of putting my touchpad up on adverts to buy a Nexus 7 and give the 7 inch form factor a go!
