Could be about a grand off.
Although some say VW are overpriced anyway, and haven't got long warranties.

To qualify purchasers must:- be Age 25 or older;
- hold a conviction free Full driving licence;
- not have received any more than 4 penalty points in the last 3 years;
- not have had an accident or made a claim (excl. windscreen) for greater than €10,000 in the last 5 years;
- hold a minimum 4 years earned no claim bonus.
Car insurance is arranged and underwritten by Allianz p.l.c. and applies to new Volkswagen cars (excluding commercial and Golf R models) purchased in July and August 2012.
