I know we're only half way through the year and this might be a bit preemptive but looking forward to next year Id love to do a sportive from each province for the craic.

So in your experiences what are the must do sportives. I'm guessing the ROK is the number one for Munster (or is it?) but what about the other provinces?

    Thanks.

I think the Sean Kelly would give the RoK a run for its money - both excellent in their own way.

    as for the other provinces:

Leinster - I'd go with the Mid-Summer Century, only because there's nothing else like it!

    Connacht - Tour de Connemara

    Ulster - Causeway Coast Sportive

For me in Leinster it's Naas CC's Wicklow Peaks in early July: Great route, great food, great cause.

For all it's faults, I enjoy the WW200 and it is one of the bigger ones. The Orwell Randonee is another to consider, though I actually found it tougher than the WW200 this year.

Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford definitely one of the best I've done, but maybe it was the weather that made is so good last year. The RoK was a great spin as well. I've heard the Tour de Burren is good as well, though I haven't done it myself.
