I had this somewhere else on boards, .Im getting them, well I hope I am.
I pluged it into a meter to see what it usesed electricity wise and its 2 kw for the hour. That was on the 1.6 KW Rad,
The guy has me down to use 9.5 kw per hour

    its 15.70 cent per KWH

so its 9.5 x 15.70 =€1.50 per hour to heat my 8 rads which is my whole house.

    If I have them on for say 5 hours a day its €7.50 a day x 180 days = 1350.

The 180 days is about oct, nov,Dec, Janu, Feb ,March I should really include the rest of the year, what with Irish weather.House is very wel insulated.Walls, Roof. Thanks

I plugged it into a useing moniter , one of them and it came up as 2 kw for the hour, But according to the sales man it only works for 15 mins of the hour.?Cananyone look atthe site www.suka.ie and see if this makes sence.
I really dont want to blow my savings and the money I have for my heating for the end of this year for something that isint what it says it is.
The moniter deffo said 2 KW, and we looked at it for about 2 mins then came back after the hour. The rad was lovely and hot but the 2 kw if its true doesnt really make a saving for me.Thanks to anyone thats willing to help,Cathy:o
