Didn't put full name on boarding pass!!

    Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me.
    i booked flights with aer lingus for august, but i put down the name jenny instead of jennifer (my full name thats on my passport).
    my signature on my passport is jenny aswell though so i was wondering does it matter, cos i don't want to be paying to have to change it and i want to see what ye think before i ring aer lingus.

    The Sig on your passport is Jenny? Have you a note on your passport that states you were born " Jennifer" ? Is the name on your passport Jennifer or Jenny?

    The name on my passport that i was born with is jennifer *****, but the signature says jenny *****, because i sign everything jenny.

    Nobody here can tell you for sure, just ring Aer Lingus.

    Also it's not your boarding pass, it's your flight booking and the names need to match the Passport. Whether they allow variations of names is not something I'd risk.

    Might be ok going to UK, but certainly not the US where admin & paperwork is everything.

    Ya, im flying into brussels.
    i've never had a problem with it before but that was always with ryanair so i might just ring them to be sure.
