    Hi there

    in the process of buying an unfinished apartment it needs a lot of work inside and there is no electric connected yet to apartment, my plan is to just let it there and do a bit to it in my own time , i am not planing to connect electric until its finished,, will i be eligible for property tax. thanks

    Unless it is on the exempt properties list you will need to pay the tax and dont forget you will also be subject to the household charge aswell, this is currently paid by the owner of the property rather than the tenant.
