Welding course info

Fuh Q

I want to do a welding course or courses to get certified in all aspects of welding. Ive been waiting for Fas to send me on a course but I might be left waiting... Im considering getting a start on it and paying for a part time course.
Do I need to do a basic beginners course or can I go straight for a MMA or MIG or TIG and then on to coded pipe welding ect ?
Also any advice on courses and job prospects ect would be great..

Have a look at the qualifax website. Its the national courses database and most of the courses in the country are listed on it.

I know some of the adult or further education colleges have offered introductory welding in the past so you could check with your local adult ed centre.

Occasionally private companies will also offer training. You can find this info through Qualifax or Google.
