Have to share this,I was out and about today and I saw these two three wheeled bikes on the road. I stopped to take a few pics and they pulled in for a chat. Heading for Cork to get the ferry to France where they will cycle throughout North France towards Paris and then onto Belguim and Amsterdam.

Both of these riders were in their 60s. What an achievement in life.

    Check out thier progress.

Thursday July 12 - Total so far: 62 km

Finally we are on the road and cycling! Today the task at hand was to get out of Dublin alive. The traffic of Dublin is a bit intimidating. Just from walking around town we got the sense that the roads were a bit of a free for all.

I like recumbents, 2-wheeled or 3-wheeled. You don't see nearly enough of them about. I've seen the same one several times in Dublin over the last few weeks though, first at the DCC cycle event during National Bike Week, and most recently on the road from Rathmines to Rathgar. It's a similar design to the one pictured above, but without faring and rear suspension, would be great during icy weather with studded tyres on it.
