    Just started a new job and I cant bring the bike inside anymore. Its locked up outside the front door nice and save (I hope!) but it is now geting rained on during the day.

    Is it really a problem, do I need to get better and more frequent with personal maintenance and servicing?

    Were in a private cul de sac I could probably cover it duing the day, but is that OTT?

    Bike is a cube road bike.

    I wouldn't want to keep a decent bike outside permanently, but during the daytime is fine.

    They mostly come at night. Mostly...

    Get your priorities straight! Tell them the bike is coming inside, or you're going to sit outside with it. Naturally one of your domestiques can sit with your bike if you need to do anything important, like some work, or avoiding being rained on...

    They did give you a set of domestiques, right?

    Buy a bike cover and keep it at work.

    Yeah a bike cover wouldn't be OTT, I'd say it'd be an effective and inexpensive move.

    @StevieOB, Smashing reference indeed :D
