    As someone who came from NI and seen these deals the odd time, wondering if any of them ever appear in RoI?

    They do, but they're nothing more than traps for the financially illiterate. There's no such thing as a free lunch. :)

    Exactly, if there is 0% finance built into the price then you should get a serious discount for cash. Although I think 0% usually turns into break-your-knees% after a fixed time.

    Technically, if there s a zero per cent finance offer, they are not supposed to free discounts to cash buyers over the same time period as that would equate to a finance charge and be false advertising. Doubt anyone regulates it here as they do in the UK.
