Acer LCD monitor needs fixing

    Hi Folks

I've an ACER LCD monitor that has an internal problem, maybe an inverter or bulb inside has gone. Basically it won't display anything or does for a short time and goes black. I've done all the checking and it's definitely the monitor not computer or cables.

Does anyone know anyone who can fix this, particularly in the Sligo area? I've mailed some local repairs and so far I've been told they fix laptop screens not computer monitors.

    Karl

Honestly it will likely be cheaper to just replace it unless its some super expensive monitor.

Other option is to contact Acer and ask if they know of any repair centres.
