Dublin's worst and best cycle paths

What's the worst cycle path in Dublin? I cycled (or tried to) the one along the Dodder from the bridge between Terenure and Rathfarnham, in the direction of Dundrum. God, it's awful - a patchy surface, trees un-trimmed that hit a cyclist in the face if you don't crouch, etc. Ended up cycling on the path.

On the other hand, I'm a big fan of the path along the Grand Canal from Rathmines down to Grand Canal Dock, I think it is.

Any idea how far this path goes in the Tallaght direction? Does it go to Springfield Ave, or even further?

Sorry, I don't know; I've only cycled it in the Dundrum direction - parts of which are actually good, but other parts are unbelievably awful, patchy and uncared-for and painful to cycle on. Must try going the other way.

Clontarf is not perfect but among the best...but only when idiots don't park their SUVs on it.

Worse still..I think that might be a bike rack attached to the back of it!

Clontarf one is a good surface but is used as a footpath by pedestrians who are totally oblivious to any cyclists.
