Using Nova at the moment. I find most of the launchers I have tried offer much the same, the difference is in the tiny details and the amount of Themes available.

I live Nova because its easily customisable and you can create shortcuts to activities.

Nova Prime here... paying for the full version is worth it - some nice perks (hiding apps, gestures, unread counts).

Using Nova, came with CM9. Works handy enough for me. So didn't really see a need to change it.

I was using 360 launcher up until getting ICS on my Ray a couple of days ago. I downloaded Apex.
It's alright. I think I prefer 360 for it's themes and folders. However, it had a few force closes in comparison to Apex. I've had no force closes with Apex yet.

How do you use folders in Apex?

HTC Sense - Launcher Pro - ADW Launcher - Go Launcher - Nova - Nova Prime

Nova just ticks all the boxes for me. I was fine with Launcher Pro until it started crashing on me. Between ADW & Nova the only major difference that affects me is the folder styles they use when you combine apps.
I prefer the Nova one. Then I upgraded to Prime to enable me to show unread counts over my apps and hide apps from the drawer and create new drawers for groups of apps.

Using the new Nova Beta 1.3beta3 (based on JellyBean code) on my ICS Xperia S and its great - lightening fast and real good options too

New beta version for Apex now available which uses Jelly Bean code. Reviews suggest that its quite fast. Havent tried yet.

I use stock Xperia one on my Xperia S as it is better than most of the others IMO.

Good combination of features and speed.

Most of the others do similar things to stock and are unstable or have disabled features except in pro versions or features I just don't care about.

Does any other launcher (e.g. Nova) have a facility for importing settings from Apex?

yes Apex made a huge blunder today so much so I'll prob sack it off completely for another launcher. took me a while to even manage to get my phone working again cuz it was default launcher (you can get to settings to disable from the notification bar) I'll take a look at some of the launchers in this thread now

I installed Nova and it had an option to import everything from Apex, which only took a few seconds. The launchers are pretty much identical so if anyone is stuck I would recommend this, at least until Apex is fixed.

Apex v 1.3.1 is now out with a fix for the FC issue. I haven't tried it yet though

Had been using AWD, and before that Launcher Pro, but trying Nova based on this thread. Like it so far.

Working for me! I was lost without it having to use the TouchWiz launcher for a few hours!

I've tried both Apex and Nova but I prefer Nova Prime. Running it on my GS3 + Paranoid Android 2.15.

was using APEX and was going to get the full version but it didnt seem to be getting updates so was waiting it out then NOVA PRIME was in the sale so got it.
its perfect , instantly took all my settings from APEX , also widgets were reinstated with a simple click.

Nova for me too. It was a toss up between Apex & Nova but I prefer the way Nova handles the folders on the home screens.

Now all my icons are circles too thanks to hawkwind23. Anybody know how to customise or create your own icons for these themese?
