Just wanted to let everyone know about this place that myself and the missus found out about recently.

Might be handy for a few of you gardening/agricultural enthusiasts who keep the likes of chickens and horses, and any pet keeping enthusiasts out there.;):D

Its called The Corn Store and its just up behind Charlestown Shopping Centre, just over the bridge beside the side of the M50.They also have a shop In Bluebell,Southside of Dublin

The Corn Store sells all kinds of animals feeds and pet feeds too. They sell giant bags of sawdust, straw, silage, manure, plant feeds and hay...(also bales of hay too,as far as I know).

They also sell various bits and bobs, fish foods and equipement, dog kennels, bird houses, rabbit hutches, chicken coops, chicken feeds and plastic feeders, horse riding gear and horse drawn traps and carriages too.

We got this 20kg bag of Guinea Pig Food for 25 euro.

A 2kg bag of this recently cost us 8 euro in a Pet Store not too far away.

So 25 euro for a 20 kilo bag is just fine by us.

PS-We have no link to this company/shop.Just 2 happy customers.:)

A friend of my girlfriend actually told us about this place.

She and her husband buy all their rabbit food, hamster food, guinea pig food, bags of straw and sawdust from the corn store...due to the lower prices.

So when we ran out of guinea pig food they told us to go to this place and we would get a large 20kg sack of the stuff at a good price.

    Glad we did go.:)

Thanks for this. Ill have to go and have a look. It would be good if they had the type of guinea pig food that we use, it doesnt have all the different bits, just a single pellet mix so they cant pick and choose what bits to eat.

Need to try and find a new hay supplier too. The hay we buy from maxizoo is nice and green but our piggys seem to keep getting hay mites from it. Dont know if its just a seasonal thing but we just cant shift them lately.

Ok, not that cheap then really for Red Mills. If it was the other one, Leader/Supreme it would be good value.
