Need to study during work!

    Hi all,

I'm a student on a very busy full time course. I'd love a part-time job where all that's really required is my presence so that I could study while doing it.

Does anyone know of such opportunities in Limerick? Or maybe any ideas of who I could approach. An example would be working at a security desk at night or something like that.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If I'm honest, with the exception of night security (from which you'll be too tired for college the following day) you'll be lucky to find a job that'll pay you for doing very little. Even at that, night security will have routine checks and patrols to do at different intervals so I wouldn't expect a cushy 6-7 hour study session.

Babysitting in the evening for younger kids that go to bed early?
Possibly cashier at a small newsagent in the evening/ overnight- you'll have busy periods but can easily have 20-30 minutes without a customer.

    Night security
Hotel reception / porter at night mightn't be too busy
    Car park attendant / security
Maybe if there are any fancy apartment buildings they might need a concierge
Some helpdesks require nightshift workers but are not very busy

I used to work on an Emea helpdesk years ago and my nightshift colleagues usually only took a couple of calls so snoozed and played games the rest of the time
