    Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to PA systems and lost when it comes to the EQ section. What is the best setting to have for singing? (Male singer btw) i.e how should I set my high, low, and mid. I want to achieve the best possible sound that I can. Here is the mixer I am using, it is a Yamaha EMX 212X

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated :)

It will depend on the venue, how full it is, what other instruments are playing, the quality of the speakers/amp and the tone of your voice. I'd start off with neutral settings and tweak from there, generally you will not need much bass - a bit of mid lift can help cut through other instruments, adjust treble so voice is smooth. A good mike will help, such as an SM58.
