Stumbled on these last week on u-tube,of interest only to the hardcore enthuasist but they are wonderfull little time pieces. So far they go from sts 1 up to 41-B.Sometimes the quality is not great, but even that brings me back to my old short wave radio days

Thanks,Iam delighted you like them.I have many similar recordings from 1984 onwards always loved VOAs Morning program with Alan Silverman one reporter I would love to contact. No Launch Countdown is complete without the voice of Hugh Harris I wish they had let him do the last launch.

Mr Hugh Harris with myself and Siobhan at the launch of sts 132.Unfortunately The voice of Shuttle launch control slipped and cracked a bone the week before but he was in great form on the day a real Gentleman and proud to say has become a friend since we first met him on sts 125 he always looked after us when we visited the press site.
